You are using a recycled paper bag or your coffee cup is made up with recycled material…..well,  but what about the clothing you are wearing……? Surprised…..?

Single-use plastic pet bottles are a big problem all over the world. Every year around 583.3 billion single-use plastic pet bottles are used globally in soft drinks, mineral water bottles and other uses.

As per Guardian report,

A million plastic bottles are bought around the world every minute and the number will jump another 20% by 2021, creating an environmental crisis some campaigners predict will be as serious as climate change. New figures obtained by the Guardian reveal the surge in usage of plastic bottles, more than half a trillion of which will be sold annually by the end of the decade.

The demand, equivalent to about 20,000 bottles being bought every second, More than 480bn plastic drinking bottles were sold in 2016 across the world, up from about 300bn a decade ago. If placed end to end, they would extend more than halfway to the sun. By 2021 this will increase to 583.3bn, according to the most up-to-date estimates from Euromonitor International’s global packaging trends report.

Most plastic bottles used for soft drinks and water are made from polyethylene terephthalate (Pet), which is highly recyclable. But as their use soars across the globe, efforts to collect and recycle the bottles to keep them from polluting the oceans, are failing to keep up.

Fewer than half of the bottles bought in 2016 were collected for recycling and just 7% of those collected were t

Recycled Yarn

Recycled polyester yarn is produced from used PET bottles, using environmentally friendly recycling processes. Single used plastic bottles are a big source of pollution globally, a million plastic bottles are bought globally every minute and it takes approximately 1,000 years to dispose of one plastic bottle. Making it a major source of pollution globally. Thus, adopting the usage of recycled yarn not only allows manufacturers to move towards sustainable production methods but is also an important step towards the protection of the environment.

How is it produced…?

What we are doing…

Recycled plastic bottles are collected from different sources like landfill, ocean, river, shore and local garbage from wenders. then all plastic bottles are collected at one place then it is chopped, ground washed, melted and reformulated into high-quality chips.

Chip is melted into the liquid polymer and extruded through tiny openings in a spinneret, creating continuous filaments that form POY. We use recycled POY and turn it to yarn through spinning and air-jet texturing. Finished yarn goes into fabrics, making everyday products more sustainable.
